Master HOA Accounting Transition
Prior to July 1st, 2020, Associa was also the accounting management company for the Master HOA. After concerns from residents and on-site teams, Associa did not provide the level of service that was expected. DMB Community Life became the Master HOA accounting services company.
The transition from Associa to DMB Community occurred over 90 days. Associa continued to collect Master HOA assessment dues for Union Park West residents who purchased their homes between October 2020 and December 2020. These issues were corrected in January 2021.
Master assessments were collected by the hoa up until mid year, when the master association decided to begin collecting directly from Union Park West owners. If you have not paid your December assessment, you may omit the $50 charge for the master, as they will bill you individually. If you have already paid it to Associa, you do not need to do anything, as we are working to get those funds transferred to the master.
You should begin receiving statement for 2021 that will not have the master assessment on them.
