Skyline Park
Skyline Park is in planning phase, and development is expected begin in March 2022. Parking will be available within the park.
Easton Bark Dog Park
A temporary dog park has broken ground as of May 2021, and is expected to take between 3-4 months to complete. It is being built adjacent to The Union center.
Sports courts
Basketball 1/2 court and pickleball courts are planned for the Union Park West Loop park which is still in design phase.
Splash pads
A splash pad within Skyline Park is expected to be constructed. No other announcements have been made.
Community garden
The Developers has stated there will not be a community garden plans in the works. However, a community garden has been approved by the District to be planted at Newton Collins Elementary.
Disc Golf Course
Final plans and installation of the balance of the trail system are still in the works, and is expected to run West, directly behind Skyline Park neighborhood. Once the trail system is installed, a disc golf course will be considered if feasible.
During the Quarter 4, 2021 Town Hall, it was explained that the developers have met with a Disc golf architect in the Austin market to finalize the feasibility, location, and access.
